Bangkok-Delhi Indigo flight makes emergency landing in Lucknow after passenger fell ill

Lucknow, Sept. 20 -- An Indigo Airlines flight from Bangkok to Delhi made an emergency landing at Choudhary Charan Singh International Airport, Lucknow, on late Saturday night when a passenger suddenly became seriously ill.

According to airport sources, IndiGo flight 6E-1054 departed Bangkok at around 8:15 pm and was scheduled to arrive in Delhi at 11:10 pm. Seeing a passenger's condition deteriorating en route, crew members immediately alerted the pilot. The pilot, acting with prudence, contacted Lucknow Air Traffic Control and requested permission for an emergency landing.

Upon receiving permission, the plane landed safely at Lucknow Airport at around 10:55 pm. This sudden landing caused some panic among the passengers on board.
