Hyderabad, May 17 -- Dramatic developments unfolded on Saturday in the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) case involving Bandi Bhagirath, son of union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar, as he was arrested and remanded to judicial custody for 14 days.

The developments gained momentum after the High Court declined to grant anticipatory bail and protection from arrest to Bhagirath, who had been absconding since a POCSO case was registered against him at Petbashirabad Police Station on May 8.
