Manama/Kuwait City, June 6 -- Bahrain and Kuwait today jointly condemned the renewed Iranian aggression on their territories, warning that the latest military escalation threatens regional stability despite an existing ceasefire between Tehran and Washington.

Both Gulf states said the strikes represented a serious violation of their sovereignty and raised fresh concerns about the risk of the wider conflict spilling further across the region.

In a statement, Kuwait's Foreign Ministry said that the attacks constituted a "dangerous escalation", warning that they endangered the safety of both citizens and expatriate residents.
