Two-time Olympic medallist Sindhu heads into the China Open after beating three-time world champion Akane Yamaguchi to end an almost two-year-long title drought in Japan last week.
Sindhu, the 2016 China Open champion, clinched the Japan Open crown without dropping a game and will now look to carry her imperious form forward in the People's Republic of China.
