Port of Spain, Aug. 4 -- Pakistan assistant coach Asad Shafiq was thrilled with the way hisside responded to his urgings on the second day of the second Test against Pakistan in Trinidad.
Right-hander Abdullah Shafique scored his sixth Test century and skipper Babar Azam (86 not out) closed in on his first Test hundred in almost four years as Pakistan dominated the second day at Port of Spain as they look to level the two-match series in the Caribbean.
Shafique and Babar put on an unbeaten stand of 168 late in the day at Queen's Park Oval to help Pakistan reach 266/2 at stumps, trailing the West Indies by just 78 runs on the first innings in the ICC World Test Championship contest.
