Mumbai, July 21 -- A special court under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) has issued a production warrant against jailed gangster Anmol Bishnoi in connection with the murder of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Baba Siddique, enabling the Mumbai Crime Branch to take him into custody for interrogation after the court questioned the delay in securing his arrest.
The order was passed by Special Judge Satyanarayan Navander on Monday after Special Public Prosecutor Mahesh Mule moved an application seeking a production warrant for Bishnoi in the high-profile murder case.
