Lucknow, April 13 -- Ayushman Arogya Camps are proving to be instrumental in ensuring the success of the Tuberculosis (TB)-Free India Campaign.

In the state, more than two lakh potential TB patients have been identified through these camps. In light of this success, a decision has been taken to continue organizing these camps, specifically, in high-risk areas.

With the objective of identifying and treating the maximum number of patients to achieve TB elimination, the state government is undertaking various initiatives.

According to State TB Officer Dr. Rishi Kumar Saxena, the "TB-Free Panchayat" initiative is being rapidly advanced across the state. The number of TB-free Panchayats rose from 7,191 in 2024 to 7,577 in 2025. This achieveme...
