Hyderabad, Aug. 26 -- Axis Energy has partnered with Lumara, a renewable energy platform launched by Brookfield in India, for the development and engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of a 400 MW utility-scale solar project at Nandipadu village in Nandyal district of Andhra Pradesh.

The project is expected to create employment opportunities for local communities during both the construction and operational phases, the company said in a release on Wednesday.

As part of the partnership, Axis Energy will execute the complete EPC scope for the solar plant, along with development of a 400 kV Pooling Substation (PSS) and an associated 400 kV transmission line connecting the project to the Kurnool III CTUIL Substation.
