Thiruvananthapuram, Oct. 27 -- Australian High Commissioner to India Philip Green on Tuesday visited the ongoing India-Australia bilateral army exercise 'AUSTRAHIND 2026' in Thiruvananthapuram, highlighting the growing strategic importance of defence cooperation between the two countries.
Emphasising the significance of the eastern Indian Ocean in connecting India and Australia, Green underscored the need to strengthen defence cooperation to address emerging multi-domain security challenges and uphold a free and open Indo-Pacific.
