Sydney, July 7 -- Hockey Australia has announced the Hockeyroos squad for the 2026 FIH World Cup as the Hockeyroos chase a third World Cup title which will be played across Belgium and the Netherlands from August 15-30.
The tournament will see the Hockeyroos based out of the Netherlands as they look to bring World Cup glory home in 2026.
The Hockeyroos play the opening game of the World Cup against Japan and find themselves in Pool A alongside the Netherlands and Chile, with the top two teams progressing to Pool E.
The World Cup marks another opportunity for one of international hockey's most successful nations to return to the top of the podium, with the Hockeyroos looking to better their bronze medal from the 2022 Hockey World Cup.
