Bhubaneswar, March 17 -- The Consul General of Australia, Bernad Lynch, has praised the initiatives taken by the Government of Odisha in the energy and agriculture sectors.
Lynch paid a courtesy visit to KV Singh Deo, the Deputy Chief Minister of Odisha, in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday.
During the meeting, both sides discussed opportunities for cooperation in renewable energy development and the agriculture sector.
Lynch noted that Odisha has surpassed the national average growth rate in agriculture while simultaneously strengthening its power infrastructure through the use of advanced technologies.
He said these efforts have significantly enhanced the state's power generation and transmission capacity.
