Canberra/New Delhi, May 25 -- Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong, who is travelling to India for the Quad Foreign Ministers' Meeting and the Australia-India Foreign Ministers' Framework Dialogue, said that the partnership between her country and India has never been more consequential.
In a statement, she described the Quad as a vital partnership amid "these uncertain times" - "four nations working together to shape a peaceful, stable and prosperous future for the Indo-Pacific region".
She said the Quad nations of Australia, India, Japan and the United States are delivering concrete outcomes on shared interests including maritime security, critical minerals supply, infrastructure development and disaster relief.
