New Delhi, Aug. 13 -- The long wait for an India Test call-up has finally ended for Jammu and Kashmir pacer Auqib Nabi and Madhya Pradesh all-rounder Saransh Jain, with both earning their maiden call-ups for the two-Test series against Sri Lanka.

Nabi was drafted into the squad as a replacement for Jasprit Bumrah, who was ruled out of the series with injury, while Saransh earned his place after years of consistent performances in domestic cricket.

The first Test begins in Galle on Saturday.

For Nabi, the call-up is the latest reward for a breakthrough domestic season.
