Thiruvananthapuram, Sept. 4 -- Attracting Global Capability Centres (GCCs) and establishing Kerala as a sustainable global hub for technology and innovation are at the heart of the state government's economic strategy, Special Secretary, Department of Electronics and IT, Seeram Sambasiva Rao, IAS, said on Friday.
The state has set an ambitious target of attracting 150 GCCs by 2031 as part of its efforts to transform Kerala into a knowledge-driven economy, with technology emerging as a key driver of growth, he said.
