Bidar, June 6 -- In a deeply disturbing and shocking case that has triggered outrage in Karnataka's Bidar district, a hospital morgue attendant has been arrested for allegedly stripping the bodies of deceased women and taking obscene photographs on his mobile phone inside a government teaching hospital mortuary.

The accused, Munir Ahmed, employed as an attendant at the BRIMS Teaching Hospital mortuary, is alleged to have committed the acts in complete violation of professional ethics, human dignity, and legal norms governing handling of the dead.
