Mumbai, June 2 -- Investigations by the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) have revealed that reconnaissance of the Narpoli police station at Bhiwandi in Thane district was allegedly carried out by an accused linked to a suspected terror network with connections to handlers based in Pakistan.
The ATS and the Mumbai Crime Branch alerted the Thane Police regarding activities allegedly undertaken by the accused connected to a terror plot, police sources said,Investigators claim that the suspect conducted surveillance of the Narpoli police station and shared an 18-second video clip with Pakistan-based handler Shahzad Bhatti and another operative identified as Abid Jatt.
