Assembly bypoll to 2 TN seats : Vijay nominates ex-AIADMK MLAs, who had quit and joined TVK after supporting trust vote

Chennai, Sept. 10 -- A day after formalising the alliance as a new Front and christened it as Secular and Social Justice Vettri Alliance (SSJVA) headed by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay, the ruling TVK on Thursday, as expected, nominated the two former 'Rebel' AIADMK Legislators, who had quit and joined the TVK, for the October six bypolls to two Assembly seats--Madurantakam and Dharapuram.

In a statement here, Vijay said TVK Deputy General Secretary Ms K.Maragatham Kumaravel and Party Tiruppur Southeast District Unit Secretary Ms.P.Sathyabama, would be contesting from Madurantakam and Dharapuram respectively, as TVK nominees on behalf of the newly formed Front and urged the party cadres and those belonging to the alliance parties to work...
