Ahmedabad, May 17 -- The six-day-long prestigious concluded successfully today at the Mahatma Mandir Exhibition Hall-1, Gandhinagar, Gujarat after witnessing outstanding performances, new world and Asian records and fierce competition among Asia's leading weightlifting nations.
The Championships organised by the Indian Weightlifting Federation, the championship was held from May 11 to 17, 2026 and featured participation from leading Asian countries across men's and women's categories.
A total of 30 nations competed in the 2026 Asian Weightlifting Championships-Gandhinagar with participation of 172 athletes - 97 Men 75 Women.
