New Delhi, Sept. 24 -- India's Anantjeet Singh Naruka and Parinaaz Dhaliwal won the bronze medal in the mixed team skeet event at the Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya on Thursday.
The Indian pair hit 44 of 48 targets in the final and were level with South Korea at the elimination stage. However, they had to settle for bronze because of their lower qualification ranking. China won gold with a world-record score of 52, while South Korea took silver with 51.
It was the second bronze medal of the Games for both Anantjeet and Parinaaz. Anantjeet was part of India's men's skeet team that finished third on Wednesday, while Parinaaz helped the women's skeet team win bronze on the same day.
