New Delhi, Sept. 22 -- 2021 World Championship bronze medallist Lakshya Sen dug deep to pull off a remarkable comeback and help India's men's badminton team complete a commanding 3-0 victory over hosts Japan in the Asian Games quarterfinals on Tuesday, and secure a medal for the silver-medallists of the 2023 Hanghou edition.
The 25-year-old Lakshya appeared to be heading for defeat after dropping the opening game and falling 14-19 behind in the decider against world No. 7 Kodai Naraoka. But the Almora-born shuttler kept his composure when it mattered most, winning seven points on the trot to beat the two-time world championships silver-medallist 11-21, 21-5, 21-19 and put India ahead.
