New Delhi, Sept. 3 -- Commonwealth Games bronze medallist Yashvir Singh has been named in India's athletics squad for the Asian Games, replacing injured javelin star Neeraj Chopra, while long-distance runner Abhishek Pal has been left out following a notice from the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA).

The Athletics Federation of India (AFI) on Thursday announced a 77-member track and field squad for the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, which will be held from September 19 to October 4. The squad was announced at a press conference in Ludhiana.

Men's 110m hurdler Tejas Shirse has also been omitted after suffering stress fractures in his left foot during the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
