New Delhi, Feb. 26 -- union Minister for Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw on Thursday announced Rail Tech Policy and the complete digitisation of the Railway Claims Tribunal (RCT) as the third and fourth reforms under Indian Railways' flagship "52 Reforms in 52 Weeks" initiative.
The Rail Tech Policy seeks to systematically induct advanced technologies into the Railways by engaging innovators, startups, industry and academic institutions through a dedicated RailTech Portal.
The Minister said anyone with a strong technological idea can directly approach the Railways through the fully digital, end-to-end portal designed to simplify proposal submission and selection.
