Patna, May 11 -- The newly elected member of the Bihar Legislative Council, Surya Kumar Sharma alias Arvind Sharma, was today sworn in as a member of the Upper House.
Chairman of the Legislative Council Awdhesh Narayan Singh administered the oath to Sharma at a ceremony held in the annexe building of the Council here.
Sharma was elected unopposed in the recent by-election to the Legislative Council seat that fell vacant following the resignation of former Bihar minister Mangal Pandey after his election to the state Assembly.
