Glasgow, Aug. 1 -- India continued its golden run in boxing at the Commonwealth Games on Saturday with Arundhati Choudhary defeating England's Chantelle Reid to claim the women's 70kg title, taking the country's boxing gold tally to five.
Arundhati produced a composed tactical display, controlling the pace of the bout and frustrating Reid with sharp movement and counter-attacks before securing a unanimous verdict from the judges.
The Indian southpaw held the advantage after the opening round, with four of the five judges favouring her. She maintained her grip on the contest in the second round despite Reid's aggressive approach, before sealing the victory in the final three minutes.
