Itanagar, Aug. 10 -- Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt General (Retd) KT Parnaik on Monday stressed the importance of discipline, physical fitness, character-building and academic excellence in shaping the future of cadets at Sainik Schools.
The Governor observed a meeting with the Principal of Sainik School East Siang, Pasighat, Col Anant Thapan, who called on him at Lok Bhavan here.
Thapan briefed the Governor on the school's academic performance, co-curricular activities, infrastructure development, future plans and the challenges being faced by the institution.
