Itanagar, Aug. 11 -- Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt General (Retd) KT Parnaik on Tuesday presented the National Flag to officials and staff of various departments attached to Lok Bhavan here as part of the nationwide Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.
The initiative, undertaken by the Governor, aims to encourage greater participation in the celebration of the 80th Independence Day and reinforce the values represented by the Tricolour.
Presenting the flags, Parnaik urged the officials to become ambassadors of patriotism in their families and communities and encouraged them to take the spirit of national unity, civic responsibility and pride in the nation to every household.
