Itanagar, July 24 -- The Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) on Friday hit back at the BJP over its recent press meet on the NEET examination controversy, accusing the ruling party of deflecting attention from the concerns of students and avoiding accountability over alleged examination irregularities.
In a statement, APCC spokesperson Johny Yangfo rejected what he described as the BJP's "misleading and politically motivated" remarks, asserting that the ongoing protests over the NEET issue represent a "national educational emergency" rather than a political confrontation between the BJP and the Congress.
