Itanagar, Aug. 7 -- Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Friday reviewed the progress of major hydroelectric projects being implemented by NHPC Ltd in Arunachal Pradesh and stressed the need to expedite execution while ensuring greater benefits for local communities.
Following a meeting with NHPC Chairman and Managing Director Bhupender Gupta, Khandu said the state government is keen to see key hydropower projects move forward without unnecessary delays.
"We need to get these projects moving, cut the delays, build faster, and deliver results," the Chief Minister said in a social media post after the meeting.
