Itanagar, April 2 -- The public hearing for the proposed 680 MW Athunli Hydro Electric Project, a statutory prerequisite for obtaining environmental clearance from the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, was successfully held on Wednesday at the Government Primary School, Athunli, in the Dibang Valley district.
The hearing was organised by the Arunachal Pradesh Pollution Control Board, and chaired by Deputy Commissioner Bekir Nyorak. It witnessed active participation from residents, stakeholders, and project-affected families, reflecting a spirit of collective engagement and informed dialogue.
