Itanagar, Sept. 26 -- The Press Information Bureau (PIB), Itanagar, organised a Vartalap on "Responsible Journalism, Informed Citizen & Nasha Mukt Bharat for Better Society" at St Claret College (Autonomous), Ziro, on Saturday, bringing together journalists and Mass Communication students for discussions on responsible news dissemination and informed citizenship.
The programme focused on fact-checking, verification, cross-checking of information, media literacy and the challenges posed by the rapid spread of misinformation through digital and social media platforms.
