Itanagar, Sept. 11 -- Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt Gen (Retd) KT Parnaik today reaffirmed the unwavering commitment of the Government of India and the Indian Armed Forces to safeguard every inch of the nation's territory, asserting that the security and development of the State's frontier areas remain national priorities.
The Governor made the remarks during a meeting with a delegation of the All Arunachal Pradesh Students' union (AAPSU), led by its president Meje Taku, at Lok Bhavan here. Community leaders of the Tagin tribe also accompanied the delegation.
The delegation apprised the Governor of its concerns and apprehensions regarding the Taksing issue and shared its perspectives on matters affecting the region and its people.
