Itanagar, June 5 -- In a significant step towards boosting Arunachal Pradesh's horticulture sector, the state Department of Horticulture has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the CSIR-Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology (CSIR-IHBT), Palampur, Himachal Pradesh, to promote scientific collaboration, technology transfer and sustainable horticultural development.
The MoU was signed and exchanged between Director of Horticulture, Arunachal Pradesh, Tobom Bam, and Director of CSIR-IHBT, Dr Sudesh Kumar Yadav, in the presence of Horticulture Minister Gabriel D Wangsu, Secretary (Horticulture) Koj Rinya, senior departmental officials and members of the institute's delegation on Thursday.
