Pune, Aug. 11 -- Artists and social activists have demanded immediate action against allegedly obscene performances staged under the banner of DJ dance and DJ Lavani programmes, saying such shows are tarnishing Maharashtra's cultural heritage.
A delegation led by Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Chitrapat Mahamandal president Meghraj Rajebhosale and actress-social activist Tina Sharma Ghewari raised the issue at a press conference at Pune Shramik Patrakar Bhavan.
