Lucknow, May 22 -- An unprecedented scenario was witnessed in the state capital on Friday morning when about 70 district judges cycled to court to create awareness to save fuel.
This unique campaign was launched to raise awareness about the rising consumption of petrol and diesel and the importance of environmental protection. The program, led by District Judge Malkhan Singh, was flagged off by Allahabad High Court Justice Rajesh Chauhan.
All the judges gathered at District Judge Malkhan Singh's residence in Dalibagh area of the city in the morning and led by the District Judge, they set out for court by bicycle at 9 a.m. During this time, all the judges shared the message of fuel conservation and environmental protection with the public....
