New Delhi, Sept. 15 -- At least three schools in Delhi received alleged bomb threats today, but they were later declared a hoax, officials said.
Army Public School in Dhaula Kuan, British School in Chanakyapuri and Sardar Patel Vidyalaya in Lodhi Estate received bomb threats via emails.
A call was received from Army Public School in the Dhaula Kuan area at 11.30 am, said a Delhi Fire Service official. Fire engines were rushed to the spot, and around 1:05 pm, after a thorough check, the bomb threat was declared a hoax, he added.
School authorities alerted police and other emergency response teams and evacuated the building, moving the students out of the premises.
