Parwinder SandhuNew Delhi, July 15 -- The Indian Army's Central Command (Surya Command) has revived a 35-year-old primary school in the remote high-altitude border village of Gunji in Uttarakhand's Pithoragarh district, restoring educational opportunities for children living in one of India's frontier regions.
The school, which had remained defunct for decades, has been rejuvenated and renamed the Army Goodwill School through the efforts of Surya Command, with the initiative aimed at strengthening access to education while fostering development in the strategically important Himalayan border village.
