New Delhi, June 30 -- With General Dhiraj Seth assuming charge as the Chief of the Army Staff on Tuesday, the Indian Army has witnessed a major reshuffle in its top leadership, with several key appointments being announced.
Lieutenant General Sandeep Jain has taken over as the Vice Chief of the Army Staff, succeeding General Seth, who held the post before being appointed Army Chief.
Following Lt Gen Jain's elevation, Lieutenant General Rajesh Pushkar has been appointed General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C) of the Pune-based Southern Command.
Lieutenant General Mohit Malhotra has also assumed charge as the GOC-in-C of the Jaipur-based South Western Command, which is responsible for the Army's operational responsibilities along th...
