Srinagar, May 31 -- Army troops deployed along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Uri sector of north Kashmir's Baramulla district apprehended three individuals, including a suspended Territorial Army (TA) personnel, allegedly attempting to exfiltrate to Pakistan, officials said on Sunday. In a separate incident, an intruder from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) was also detained.
In the first operation, the Army foiled an exfiltration attempt along the LoC and detained three individuals from Sopore sub-district during a joint search operation with police, following specific intelligence inputs.
