New Delhi, July 16 -- Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Dhiraj Seth on Thursday visited Gajraj Corps to review its operational preparedness and combat readiness, where he was briefed on the prevailing security situation, capability development initiatives, and measures undertaken to maintain peace and stability in the region.
During the visit, senior officers of the Eastern Command apprised the Army Chief of the Corps' operational readiness, force modernisation efforts, and initiatives aimed at strengthening security in the area. General Seth also reviewed the formation's preparedness to address emerging security challenges in the evolving operational environment.
