Imphal, June 7 -- Manipur Police and security personnel recovered a cache of arms, communication equipment and remnants of improvised explosive devices (IEDs) from the Indo-Myanmar Border (IMB) in Tengnoupal district, while separate operations led to the arrest of two active militants and two individuals involved in illegal liquor transportation, police said on Sunday.

According to police, the recovery was made on June 5 from the stretch between Border Pillar No. 72 and Border Pillar No. 73, about 12 km south of Chonjang Company Operating Base (COB) under Moreh Police Station in Tengnoupal district.
