New Delhi, March 17 -- Armed motorcycle-borne assailants robbed a businessman of his valuables in the early hours of Monday in the East of Kailash area of South-East Delhi, sources said.

The incident took place around 3:15 am in D-Block when the victim, Ankur Ahuja, was returning home after dropping a friend. According to the sources, the victim noticed two motorcycles following him near Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya and tried to speed away on his scooter.

However, near Sapna Cinema, one of the motorcycles rammed into his vehicle, forcing him to stop. He was then surrounded by four assailants riding two motorcycles, three of whom were wearing helmets.
