Lucknow, May 23 -- Arjun Tendulkar returned to the playing XI for Lucknow Super Giants as Punjab Kings won the toss and elected to bowl first in a crucial Indian Premier League 2026 clash here on Saturday.

The inclusion of Tendulkar was among two changes made by Lucknow, alongside Arshin Kulkarni, in what skipper Rishabh Pant described as a season of "significant learning" for the franchise.

Punjab captain Shreyas Iyer said his side chose to field first in what he termed a "do-or-die" encounter for the team.

"We're going to bowl first. It's like a do-or-die game for us. I would say rather do. The boys are super excited and looking forward to the challenge," Iyer said at the toss.
