Bengaluru, July 30 -- Asking whether Congress leader Rahul Gandhi thought the people of Karnataka were "idiots", Karnataka BJP president Vijayendra Yediyurappa on Thursday launched a blistering attack on the Congress high command over the prolonged delay in the state's Cabinet expansion, alleging that Karnataka's elected leaders had been reduced to waiting outside Rahul Gandhi's residence in New Delhi for approval.
In a strongly worded statement, Vijayendra said his remarks were a counter to Rahul Gandhi's own use of expressions such as "idiot" and "Andh Bhakt" while attacking the BJP in Parliament.
