Tehran, Aug. 23 -- Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on Sunday dismissed what he described as a new US economic pressure campaign under President Donald Trump, calling it a repeat of Washington's longstanding policy of "bullying" toward Tehran.
Speaking on the sidelines of a ceremony at the Mausoleum of Imam Khomeini, Araghchi said the latest US measures represented a "repetitive scenario" that Iran had faced before and knew how to confront.
He also said Washington had shifted from threats of military action back to economic pressure, which he characterized as a sign of desperation.
