Pune, May 12 -- An application was filed on Tuesday before the court of First-Class Judicial Magistrate A. S. Bagal, demanding the addition of serious charges in the criminal case concerning the recent ink attack, chemical assault, and death threats against Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar faction) ideologue and spokesperson Vikas Sadashiv Lavande over his alleged derogatory remarks against Warkari spiritual movement gurus.
The application was submitted on behalf of Advocate Milind Dattatray Pawar of Pune. The court has taken cognizance of the application, heard arguments, and scheduled May 14 for its order.
