Vijayawada, March 30 -- The Andhra Pradesh Journalists union for Print and Electronic Media (APJU) has urged the Chandrababu Naidu government to investigate the appointment of a non-state individual as the State's National Media Advisor during the previous YSRCP regime, along with alleged irregularities in issuing the government advertisements to select Telangana-based newspapers.

APJU General Secretary Ch Purnachandra Rao and Amaravati Capital Region President Pokkuluri Subba Rao, in a joint statement released here on Monday, demanded full disclosure on the advisor's expenses, staff employed, and benefits accrued to the state.
