Vijayawada, March 25 -- The AP Tourism Authority signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Culinary Institute here on Wednesday in the presence of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to promote the State as a Culinary Tourism hub.
Representatives of the Indian Culinary Institute and Special Chief Secretary (Tourism) Ajay Jain exchanged the MoU documents.
The collaboration will help to promote Telugu cuisine at national and international platforms. It will also focus on skill development programs in the culinary sector, enhancing employment and livelihood opportunities for youth.
As part of the MoU, the institute will collaborate with the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Authority in organising food festivals and tourism events.
