Vijayawada, April 7 -- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu directed officials to fully utilise the State's vast potential in solar power generation, with a special focus on developing Rayalaseema region as a major renewable energy hub.
Presiding the 16th State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) meeting at Secretariat at Amaravati near here on Tuesday, the Chief Minister emphasised the need to attract large-scale investments in solar energy projects, particularly in Rayalaseema districts.
He instructed officials to plan and develop robust transmission infrastructure to enable power supply to other states in the future.
