Vijayawada, March 24 -- Andhra Pradesh Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav has said that 150 AYUSH centres are being established in the state for Rs 44 crore.

Talking to the media here on Tuesday, the Minister said that the construction of the AYUSH buildings is being carried out expeditiously.

The government aimed to make ancient medical care services available to the people, and as part of that, 150 AYUSH centres are being set up. The AYUSH hospitals would start providing medical services to the people in two months.

The buildings are being constructed with all the amenities as per the Indian Public Health Standards (IPHS) guidelines and the branding norms of 'Ayushman Arogya Mandir' (AAM).
