Vijayawada, March 11 -- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday directed district collectors to focus more on farmers' welfare by paying special attention to issues affecting the agricultural sector.
The Chief Minister proposed setting up an 'Indian School of Agriculture' on the lines of the Indian School of Business to deal with issues related to the farm sector.
Addressing the sixth District Collectors' Conference at the Secretariat in Vijayawada, he announced the establishment of the Indian School of Agriculture, a deemed university aimed at addressing all issues related to the agricultural sector and rendering AI-based agritech services to benefit farmers.
